Expressing your limits in relationships

Expressing your limits with trust

😒 Do you have the impression that others don’t respect your limits even if you think you’re expressing yourself assertively?

😔Is it difficult for you to say « no » without being afraid of threatening the relationship?

😖 Do you feel torn between the desire to express your authenticity and the fear that it will be seen as a weakness?

❓Did you answer yes to any of these questions? If so, this workshop is for you!

Expressing your limits is about choosing integrity!

The key to having a satisfactory impact is to understand how to foster collaboration. It is possible to express your limits and authenticity, while being respectful towards others, without necessarily putting aside your integrity. If I managed to do it in my relationships with my three teenagers, and with my colleagues, partner, and my ex, you can do it too.

Over time, I integrated compassionate communication into the way I speak and act, and have learned to say «no» and to refuse when it does not suit me, all the while maintaining my relationships and developing my ability to listen compassionately to myself and others.

This allowed me to respect my limits and myself more and more, despite the fact that I had not learned that in my childhood.

In-person training with people from the community who are curious to learn, within a framework of respect and non-judgment. A learning experience (with theory brought in) in an interactive and fun way, examples and case studies to help you quickly integrate the concepts. You will also practice, with exercises proposed inside the group for you to built trust in your capacities to express your limits!

« Collaborating with authenticity and empathy »

This workshop will inspire you to develop and deepen your interpersonal skills (within groups, with colleagues, with friends) in order to create cooperation and mutual respect.

-To navigate with authenticity and look beyond the habits of compromise, confrontation or avoidance, which are unsatisfactory in the long run.
-For decision-making and conflicts to be addressed in a way that allows us to achieve not only the objectives but also creates trust and respect within our relationships while doing it.
-To learn to live together in a more sustainable way.

« Turning conflict into dialogue »

This type of communication provides favorable conditions to express what is important to us, with respect and care. We learn to shift from an “attack-defense” mode of communication towards authenticity and listening without judgement in our relationships.

- an NVC workshop in collaboration with Transition NDG -

Are you ready to get out of the circle of powerlessness in the face of emotions, to express anger in a healthy way?

This usually happens when anger is expressed : we reject the blame on someone or something when we don't get what we want. Our needs are not met. We act and communicate in a way that will prevent us, at 90%, to get what we need.

During this workshop, we will explore ways to transform the expressions of anger to change it into an opportunity to enrich our lives and take care of our relations with respect. We will learn where anger comes from and ways of expressing it which allow to take into account my needs and those of others.
